Hi, I am Matthew Evans.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Communications - Journalism at Deakin University at the Burwood Campus. I am in my second year of study.

I am an aspiring journalist/ commentator & I am also currently a part-time electorate officer for a Federal MP.

I am an extremely proud Melbournian/ Victorian.

I currently play footy and cricket at club level, and love to participate & spectate a wide range of sports, including Football (soccer), Rugby, Athletics, and more.

I support the mighty Melbourne Football Club in the AFL, and support other Melbourne based clubs from other codes, such as the Melbourne Storm (NRL), Melbourne Victory (A-League), and the Melbourne Vixens (Netball) just to name a few

My hobbies & interests include politics, general news, sport, film & television, performing & creative arts and film making.

I am inspired to create things and put my ideas out there for discussion in the dynamic public sphere. I love to engage and participate in society, seeking to make a solid contribution.

I have a wonderful girlfriend, Kate, who we share a wonderful bundle of joy, Poppy the Jug (Jack Russell x Pug).
