While most people find me quite intelligent, I'm definitely somebody's idiot (usually my wife's). I've spent most of my life sailing by with very little effort, but I have developed a keen sense of curiosity and, as a result, I am well-read enough that many people refuse to compete with me in trivia. I found university generally overrated, but I thoroughly miss days spent doing nothing and complaining about how busy I was.

Somewhere along the way I managed to pick up two of the most expensive hobbies ever (aviation and photography), a beautiful wife, and a black lab named Scout.
