Matthew Follett

Appointed in 2015 as director of sales for the Follett School Solutions (FSS) digital bookstore provider Follett Virtual Campus (FVC), Matthew Follett began his career with FSS in 2004. As an outside sales content consultant for the Central Region sales team, he oversaw the provision of print and digital media for school libraries and classrooms within an area consisting of more than 400 public and private schools and districts. Matthew Follett developed his territory by liaising with such educational administrators as chief academic officers and curriculum coordinators. During more than 10 years in this role, he won several company honors, most recent among them the 2014-2015 Circle of Excellence Award.
With his promotion, Matthew Follett assumes responsibility of customer and revenue growth for the FVC division. From the FSS office in Westchester, Illinois, he manages five outside consultants who market online and print content services to accommodate the campus bookstore needs of private and parochial educational institutions all around America.
Mr. Follett studied at both the University of New Mexico and Lewis & Clark College, where he earned a BA in environmental studies. He continues his professional education through participation in programs facilitated by the Center for Creative Leadership.
Complementing his professional pursuits, Matthew Follett donates to the Prairie Hill Waldorf School in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. He enjoys hiking and playing basketball and baseball. Widely traveled, he has visited destinations ranging from Whistler, British Columbia, to Rome, Italy.
