Matthew Greenberg
Berlin Germany
Matt started his career as an advertising professional working in client services on the Hewlett-Packard and legendary Saturn Car accounts at Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco; where he was fortunate to learn what it means to build and nurture a brand from some of the best in the business. He also gained invaluable experience with TV, print, outdoor, radio and the importance of storytelling. Being a marketer in Silicon Valley during the infamous bubble-burst, he experienced first-hand the danger of moving too fast without a sound strategy based on business objectives. He took this experience to heart by always doing what is right for the brand.
After 4 years in the traditional advertising business it was time to explore the digital realm. He found a great fit at AKQA in San Francisco (digital agency of the year 2012) where he stayed for 6 years leading integrated campaigns crossing both on and offline channels for the likes of Visa and Palm, Inc. Matt was successful in building positive client relationships, revenue and new business, as well as developing skills in brand platform development, project management, digital production, mobile strategy, social media, search marketing and budget planning.
After living in San Francisco for 12 years (and after contemplating a move for 3 years), Matt and took the leap and moved to Berlin 3 years ago to be close to family and to experience this innovative and culturally rich city. Now at Spree7, as a Sales Manager, he is fortunate to work with a team of experts who implement, integrate and manage data driven marketing campaigns.
Besides his career focus Matt is interested in all sorts of sports and music. He is a passionate basketball player, bike rider, Frisbee and guitar player (obviously a product of being raised in California) and loves the feeling after a good workout, finishing a good book or hearing a compelling story.
