Matthew Gresge
As the President of the Stock Products Division of RR Donnelley & Sons Company, Matthew Gresge currently oversees TOPS Products, which offers office supplies such as notepads, binders, files, and forms. He maintains responsibility for a number of facilities, including four manufacturing plants, four distribution centers, and two call centers. Gresge also provides leadership for operations, sales, marketing, product management, financing, IT, and human resources. Since accepting the position in 2003, Matthew Gresge helped grow revenue by 300 percent. Additionally, he reorganized the senior leadership team while implementing global sourcing operations. Matthew Gresge fostered agreements with four manufacturers that were unable to distribute to the office product market. He also signed on over $1 billion in client contracts.
Matthew Gresge’s career with RR Donnelley began in 1987, after he graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a B.S. in Business. Gresge held a number of sales-related positions with the firm, including Sales Director, Sales Manager, and Senior Sales Representative. In 1997, he gained employment with World Color Press Inc. in Itasca, Illinois. At the time, World Color functioned as a privately held company worth $2 billion. Matthew Gresge helped the business’ sales increase by 20 percent each year as the Vice President of Sales with Book Services. When the firm was merged with Quebecor, Matthew Gresge assisted in preparing it for acquisition.
In November 1999, Matthew Gresge became the Sales Director for NewlineNoosh, Inc., a company that offers a marketplace for businesses looking to buy and sell printing and other related services. Gresge directed recruitment and training for the start-up and provided guidance for a 30-member sales group. Additionally, he opened the company’s Chicago office and signed a very lucrative client, the largest at the time. Matthew Gresge also acquired his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University. In his spare time, Gresge enjoys contributing to various charities, including City of Hope, the American Cancer Society, and Pillars.
