Matthew Guillory represents many years of expertise in the areas of business lending and cash management streamlining, personal financial planning, and wealth management including trust services and investment management. After graduating from Comerica Bank’s Credit College and working as underwriting in Middle Market & Private Banking lending with the bank, he serves as Branch Manager with California Bank & Trust, leading one of the largest and most profitable branches in the greater Los Angeles Area. Matthew’s speciality is working with businesses with revenue sizes from $2 Million to $25 Million, as well as high net worth individuals with their wealth management and financing matters.

Formally, Matthew was the Banking Center Manager and Licensed Financial Specialist, Vice President of Comerica Bank’s Mission Valley office for four years. During his tenure he has lead the branch to become one of the top performing offices in Comerica’s Western Market covering CA & AZ through his dedicated efforts to build client relationships throughout the San Diego Metropolitan Area.

Prior to joining Comerica Bank, Matthew served in many roles with Downey Savings and Loan, now apart of US Bank, including the positions of Branch Manager as well as Branch Optimization Specialist at their Corporate headquarters. Matthew graduated in the top of his class while earning his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from San Diego State University.

Outside of work Matthew continuously demonstrates his dedication to his community through his leadership and involvement with many philanthropic and professional organizations including Chartering President of the San Diego Mission Valley Sunset Rotary Club and former board member positions with Innovations Academy, the only public K-8 school in Mission Valley and, Mabuhay Alliance, a nationally recognized minority organization. Additionally Matthew serves as a Board Member and Loan Committee Member at Bankers CDC Loan Program, which works to offer for-profit and non-profit businesses alternative lending options to conventional small business loans and, Vice Chairman & Board of Manager for the Jackie Robinson YMCA, serving one of San Diego County’s most critical neighborhoods.

Matthew is a resident of West Los Angeles and continuously leads by example for his three siblings, Antonio, 31, Dianggello, 17, and Cherish-Dion, 6.
