Matthew Hamory

A principal with the Boston offices of worldwide professional services firm KPMG, Matthew Hamory oversees consumer and retail strategy consulting operations throughout the United States. Before joining KPMG in 2015, he served as a partner with Oliver Wyman, co-managing the company’s North American retail practice and serving as a member of its global retail practice leadership team. Matthew Hamory formerly served Oliver Wyman as co-lead of North American recruiting and chief operating officer of the global retail practice. His enduring professional interests include retail/consumer business operations and the ways in which technology affects commerce.

Off work, Matthew Hamory enjoys traveling in Europe and cheering on the New England Patriots. In an effort to give back to the community at large, he supports a number of charities including military nonprofits, such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and children’s initiatives, such as Cradles to Crayons. He also volunteers with several programs that support the Tenacre Country Day School and its student body.
