Matthew has over 20 years’ experience in the area of people centric information technology in high-tech industries. He has been responsible for developing and implementing HR systems and technology, web based services, analytics, and new ways of working focusing on community, collaboration and social media.
Matthew is a Business Consulting Lead at NorthgateArinso, his focus is on helping clients create high performance and collaborative employee environments.
Matthew worked at Nokia from 1997 – 2012, where he held various posi¬tions within HR and IT with global responsibility including HR Director Community and Social Media. His accomplishments include implementing a global ERP (SAP HR), developing a portfolio of web-based (e-HR) solutions and services (Performance Management, Compensation Management, Recruiting, Reporting and Analytics), developing the corpo¬rate intranet and establishing a portfolio of social media and collabora¬tion capabilities.
Before joining Nokia, Matthew spent over 10 years at Digital Equipment Corporation, finally as European HRIS Manager.
Matthew has been a speaker and panelist at several international events and conferences related to human resource technology, analytics and the use of collaboration and social media.
Matthew lives in Finland, is married and has five children.
