Matthew Hernandez
During my time working for United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Vienna, Austria I worked as editor of Visions and Strategies of the Carpathian Area (VASICA) in addition to writing and editing press releases, agendas, and contracts. In addition, I helped organization 2010's International Mountain Day held in conjunction with the Verbier Green Pioneering Summit co-sponsered by UNEP in Verbier, Switzerland.
While at UCSC my studies emphasized in East Asian Philosophy and Physical Anthropology. This led me to complete two theses, one which brought me to the depths of the Costa Rican rainforest studying seed dispersal by Howler monkeys (Alouatta palliata).
