Matt Williams

Matt started Winemaker's Academy in order to hone his skills making wine and to help others learn as well. What started as a small site for sharing winemaking tips has become something much larger. Today Matt works advising both amateur and professional winemakers on how to make a better bottle of wine. This mantra has guided him and the content he produces for both the Winemaker's Academy website and podcast. A few times a year Matt also teaches wine making classes through local venues in Colorado. Beyond the Academy, Matt is studying to become a professional sommelier through the International Wine Guild. Currently he is a Certified Wine Sommelier but is working to achieve the Certified Wine Judge and Certified WIne Educator diplomas. Outside of wine Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 year old daughter. They live on the Front Range of Colorado and spend many weekends a year exploring the Rocky Mountains.
