Matthew Plotkin

A portfolio manager on behalf of investors, Matthew Plotkin is responsible for the interior design, renovation, and ongoing maintenance of four properties across Northern Manhattan and New Jersey. With these properties, Matthew Plotkin oversees close to 50 units with a combined valuation of approximately $20 million.

In the role, which he began in 2012, he has helped improve relationships with tenants through integrating an efficient communication platform that increased transparency and saw a positive impact on collection rates. In conjunction, he rolled out an automated accounts receivable system that boosted workflow for employees at the firm.

Previously, Mr. Plotkin pursued a bachelor of arts at Hofstra University, where he majored in management with a minor in information technology. Alongside his degree, he holds New York and New Jersey Real Estate salesperson licenses. He has an interest in cooking shows and cooks at the Technique restaurant every Saturday, and has also practiced yoga for over a decade.
