As an Entertainment Journalist, TV Personality and TV Producer, KJ Matthews has brought some of the best celebrity interviews and stories to CNN for millions of viewers around the world. For nearly a decade, she help generate some of the most talked about stories on CNN. From her red carpet premiere celebrity interviews to her international award show coverage to her breaking entertainment news, there isn't an "A" lister she hasn't interview while she worked for CNN. KJ's reporting skills, hands on producing and overall knowledge of the Entertainment industry along with her work ethic has helped her produce quality content for all CNN platforms. Her CNN interviews have appeared on: "Anderson Cooper 360", "CNN Newsroom", "Erin Burnett Outfront", "New Day", "Piers Morgan Tonight", and on CNN's sister networks, HLN and CNN International.

She's come a long way from her days as a reporter and writer for the CBS Affiliate in San Diego, the ABC Affiliate in Huntsville, Alabama and the FOX Affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky. It's her strong knowledge, tough work ethic and savvy TV business sense that helped her transition from local TV to a major international news network.

She began her college education at UCLA where she received a Bachelor's Degree in World Art. Shortly after she went on to NYU where she earned a Master's Degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Her most recent entertainment reports, red carpet interviews with celebrities, and entertainment news segments have appeared on the syndicated news magazine show "EXTRA" and all over BBC Radio and BBC TV channels. When she's filing entertainment reports, she can be found traveling the world.
