Matthew Stalker
Radiologist in San Antonio, Texas
Matthew Stalker credits his position as an Air Force EMT and firefighter as the reason he decided to go into medicine. After being deployed to multiple countries and serving in Operation Desert Storm in 1991, Matthew completed his service and immediately began working toward a career as a physician. He concentrated on radiology, received his Doctor of Medicine, and completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal and Neurological Magnetic Imaging. From there, Matthew worked at an imagining technology center, a medical service management center, and finally the Foundation Surgical Hospital where he works as a radiologist.
Matthew enjoys staying active by doing physical, hands-on activities, such as landscaping his property and trying out new renovations or projects in his home. He also plays sports, especially racquetball and volleyball, and does CrossFit workouts. Matthew also loves spending time with his three-year-old son.
