Matthew Tirado

My name is Matthew Tirado.

I have worked at various businesses for IT positions including server production, systems administration, web management and network security.

I have taken the Cisco Networking program and majored in Information Security at Wake Technical Community College before moving on to The University of North Carolina at Charlotte to study Computer Science with a minor in Japanese. I have also studied abroad in Asia - mainly in Japan and China where I have concentrated on my Japanese minor. In Tokyo, where I attended Oberlin University (桜美林大学), I studied Japanese language and literature, international business and economics, and Chinese language. I can speak Japanese fluently and am currently learning Mandarin Chinese. My sense of urgency and situational awareness reflects my training in the U.S. Air Force through ROTC at Detachment 592 and Maxwell Air Force Base. I am looking for a position in which I can employ my wide range of skills and learn as much as possible in order to bring the maximum benefit to my employer.
