Matthew V Blackwell

I’m Matthew V. Blackwell, an entrepreneur and operations leader based in Woodbridge, Connecticut. My career has spanned several industries, including data analytics, food manufacturing, ecommerce, and real estate. While the work has changed over the years, my approach has stayed consistent: build strong systems, focus on execution, and adapt when the market shifts.

I graduated Cum Laude from Union College with a degree in Industrial Engineering, which shaped how I think about process, structure, and problem-solving. Early in my career, I worked in consumer data and product testing before spending more than a decade in operations leadership at a family-founded manufacturing company. That experience taught me accountability, attention to detail, and how to manage growth responsibly.

Later, I stepped into entrepreneurship and learned firsthand how challenging it can be to build something from the ground up. Those experiences reinforced the importance of resilience and steady decision-making, especially during periods of economic uncertainty. Today, I own and operate Woodbridge Farms, an ecommerce business, and SeaSide Properties, which manages my family’s real estate portfolio.

Outside of work, family is my top priority. I’m a father, an active community volunteer, and a Duty Officer with the American Red Cross. I believe leadership is built through consistency, clear standards, and showing up when it matters most.
