Mattias Ekeroth is a native of Malmo, Sweden who spent his junior years competing and riding up to a national level throughout Europe. After turning professional at the age of 19, Mattias traveled to the United States for what was meant to be a temporary trip. Twelve years later, Mattias finds himself at the center of a thriving business built upon his own good name and a stellar record turning out successful show jumpers. Mattias’ complete focus is dedicated to educating the horse, and bringing along each individual with patience and thorough training based and flatwork and rideability. Look for Mattias in the grand prix ring in 2014 as he campaigns The Governor, his own 10-year-old Dutch-bred gelding.
