Matt Kerr
Grant Alexander, is an executive search firm dedicated to helping clients find exceptional candidates who can contribute in meaningful ways to their businesses. Matt brings more than 25 years of human resources experience including research, executive search, career transition, talent acquisition and human resources management. Mr. Kerr has a proven track record in leveraging extensive industry contacts as well as functional groups and organizations to quickly identify and develop top candidates. Prior to joining Grant Alexander, Mr. Kerr conducted executive searches as a principal for Talent Integration, He has significant experience in Human Resources which includes leading the Human Resources function for a large engineering company and 15 years experience at Motorola in several positions, including senior human resources management roles. Additionally, Mr. Kerr served as a coach with several career management firms. Mr. Kerr has a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in business from Loyola University of Chicago. He is highly connected to the human resources community, and serves as the site owner and group moderator of The Chicagoland HR Transition Group, a 2,000 member online community that facilitates career networking among HR professionals in the Chicago market.
