Matt has more than a decade of experience crafting consumer internet experiences. He is passionate about product management, the creative process, and thrives on solving unique challenges.
Early on in his career, Matt worked for various interactive design agencies. During this time he helped launch some of the web's early startups. He also worked with more established brands such as Corona and Sprite to bring their offline experiences online.
Later, Matt worked for McAfee where he managed large and small clients around the world to deploy security software to millions of users. He defined product enhancements, created product roadmaps, worked on go to market plans, and rolled out software upgrades.
Matt then led product management for Yahoo! Travel. He launched their social media program, created a mobile version of the site, and conceived and created Yahoo's Travel’s first mobile app, Yahoo! TimeTraveler which was featured by Apple.
After Yahoo! he worked at Dwell Magazine as Director of Product Management. While there he crafted a new ecosystem that connected architects, interior designers and high end brands to consumers with design needs.
Most recently at PIX System he built products that served the film and entertainment industry which allowed for secure video & asset collaboration between directors, casting agents, actors and creatives and unlocked efficiency in the filmmaking process.
He currently holds the role of Advisor at Utrip.com, a travel startup focused on using artificial intelligence, personalization and human curation to create amazing trip itineraries.
His diverse experience has helped him to lead teams around the world, understand local market needs, and create experiences that drive revenue and user adoption at a scale that few have overseen.
