Matt McVaney - or McV, as many like to call him- is a writer/producer based out of Nashville, TN. He is currently signed to Song House, a publishing venture owned by producer/engineer/mixer, F. Reid Shippen.
McV has worked with a number of pop and country artists, including Jessie James Decker, Chase Rice, Kane Brown, Cali Rodi, Lauren Alaina, Seth Alley, Jimmie Allen, and Sammy Arriaga. He is most well-known for co-writing Kane Brown’s viral hit “ Used To Love You Sober” (iTunes #1 Country, #2 Overall) and Lauren Alaina’s latest Interscope single “Next Boyfriend.”
In addition to writing with many of Nashville’s leading talents, McV creates music for commercials, film, and television. He has co-written several songs for CMT's "Nashville," including the hit-song "Saved" performed by Lennon Stella. When not working on music, you can find him indulging in Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and all things Christmas.
