Matt Nemer

Matt Nemer is a Senior Strategist at hims based in San Francisco, CA. He serves on the executive board of the organization and manages financial and strategic functions. Matt's experience extends far beyond his current position. Before serving at hims, Matt worked as a Wall Street financial analyst for two decades.

Matt was one of the first analysts to predict the dramatic change that Amazon would bring to traditional brick-and-mortar stores on a global scale. In addition, he was the onlyUS-based analyst to cover brick and mortar retail with pure-play, ecommerce companies, video commerce companies, and global marketplaces.Matt has also worked as an advisor to various startups.

Matt Nemer originally earned hisdegree in Economics from Vanderbilt University. Since then, he's positioned himself as an expert in the finance industry. He has a strong focus on digitally native vertical brands, or DNVBs. He has many thoughts on how direct to consumer brands have influenced the market, and how they will continue to do so in the future.

Matt also serves asthe Managing Member of Ross Provisions LLC in Marin County, California.Ross is a retail store & lab that serves as a place to test marketing strategies and product packaging. He enjoys experimenting with retail technology. He donates the profits from this store to a local public school.

Matt enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing sports, and hiking. His work and hobbies keep him busy.
