I recently traveled to the North Georgia mountains on a camping trip with a group of my good friends. This photograph was taken on a nature hike where we witnessed the great Georgia landscape. We hiked through mountains, woods, and came across beautiful rivers undisturbed by human life. One quality of the photograph that I appreciate is the enormity of the landscape in comparison to myself. To me, it's a symbolic reminder of nature's undeniable importance in our lives.

It was great to spend a few days with close friends in a new environment. Everyone who was a part of the trip had moved away from my hometown after high school and rarely traveled back to visit, so it was sort of like a reunion. It was refreshing to take a hiatus from our busy lives and explore what nature has to offer. At first, returning to civilization felt strange, but I feel like I have acquired a greater appreciation of the little things in life.
