Matt Pennington is a recent law school graduate living in Portland, OR after attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He grew up in Bend, OR and graduated from Summit High School. In 2005 he graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Natural Resources and a minor in History.

He has a passion for helping people, working for the environment, and sustainability.

He helped the indingent communities of San Diego, CA by volunteering and interning at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego. Matt while working at the US Marine Corps MCRD San Diego helped Active Duty Military, their dependents, and Retirees. He worked at the Thomas Jefferson Veterans Legal Assistance Clinic helping homeless veterans that are recovering from addiction, with the legal problems they face.

Matt has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 2013.
