Matt Redington was interested in cooking at a very young age, and by the time he was a teenager he'd already begun to prove how serious he was about it. After taking an apprenticeship under Christian Bertrand, Matt became the youngest person to secure a spot in an advanced program at New England Culinary Institute. Since then Matt has gone on to work with some of the most respected chefs in the business in various capacities.
Matt has taken executive chef roles at restaurants, led locations to earn four stars, and overseen the conception and eventual creation of pop-up restaurants and long-term establishments around the U.S.
Matt created Gangstir Consultancies to help restaurant and menu development for a wide variety of clients. He also founded M.F. Red Consultancies, which enables artist collaborations in events. Matt has a history working with and near artists, and he enjoys blending art and food professionally.
