Matt Robinson
I was born in Sacramento at Kaiser Hospital. My parents and I moved up to Orland, CA around 1982. My younger brother was born in 1983. Fast forward a bit, I graduated from Orland High School in 1999. From there, I got hired at Fire-Trol Holdings, also in Orland. I attended school at Chico State, where I started out as a Mechanical Engineering major, which soon grew tiresome. I switched to Manufacturing Technology/Engineering and finally settled on a major that I graduated in December of 2004. That major was a Bachelor of Arts in Economics: Option in Environmental Economics. I also minored in Environmental Studies. From there I went on to work for Meek's Hardware and Lumber again. Following that, I landed a job with The Salvation Army in Chico, CA. After a brief education at Butte College where I received a Certificate of Completion for Account Clerk, I landed a job working as a cashier at Walmart in Willows, CA, where I am currently employed. I took an online class through Butte College in Individual Excellence and am currently studying bookkeeping through the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB). This keeps me busy and will hopefully give me a leg up the corporate ladder.
