Matt Safford

I am a writer, editor, and journalist working in the New York City area. A graduate of the first class of the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, my work has appeared in Smithsonian, Popular Science, Wired, MSNBC, PC Magazine, Geek Magazine, and elsewhere in the ether.

Aside from technology and geek culture, my interests include politics, human evolution, comedy podcasts, and abrasive electronic music. My Android device reports that I've trekked more than 5,000 miles around New York City. I haven't yet grown sick of the urban scenery, but I would like to log a few hundred more miles in the Scottish Highlands.
