I am a forward-thinking technology executive with a track record of creating market-leading and innovative platforms and products. I have over 20 years of experience working as a serial entrepreneur, innovator, and technology leader in multiple industries. I spent 7 years at Big Blue after they acquired Webify Solutions in 2006 and I had the incredible opportunity to help start the commercial IBM Watson division in 2011 where I created and led Watson Labs - a team of software engineers, machine learning researchers, and product designers who's sole mission was to co-create innovative products with Watson technology partnering with some of IBM's largest clients. As I worked on building the very first commercial applications of Watson in areas like cancer research and financial services, it quickly became clear to me that the era of the AI in the enterprise had truly arrived. My passion for this space and my entrepreneurial spirit merged in mid 2013 and I started CognitiveScale as Co-Founder and CTO. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring new technology, the occasional round of golf, and craft beer (making it, drinking it, etc.).
