My wife, Karalee, and I spend our evenings creating delectable dinners and enjoy attending live music performances, especially broadway musicals. I also enjoy practicing the art of photography and riding on my patriotically colored bike "America".
After a decade working in the hospitality industry, my life and career took a sharp turn toward making a different in the lives and families of people living with disabilities. My first step was to get my Masters degree and teaching license. As a Special Education Teacher, my students consistently outperformed expectations on both local and state mandated testing. My love for data and results met a perfect match when once day I was introduced to Applied Behavior Analysis.
In 2016 I sat for and passed the exam to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Since then my wife and I have moved to Georgia where I have worked with those most in need in a variety of capacities, all under the DBHDD umbrella. Currently I have the honor of working as a Regional Behavior Analyst which allows me to bring together my love for leadership and alignment with policy.
