Born and raised in Norman, OK, Matt's a gifted musician and communicator who has a heart for those far from God. His overarching passion is to see people connect with God and then use their gifts and talents to further God's kingdom, because all of life comes down to doing everything we can for the glory of God.

Matt plays guitar, enjoys graphic design, loves coffee/sci-fi/good books, despite being a manly man isn't afraid to admit he cried during the Notebook, wears a size 17 shoe, and enjoys sports & the outdoors (especially with his kids!).

Matt and his wife Kathryn have 9 children, ranging from 25 to 3 (Gavin, Audra, Gabriel, Nicholas, Aiden, Brennan, Eliana, Charlotte, and Josiah) and one grandson. They keep him busy but are the greatest blessing he's been given!
