Matt Stiller
Matt Stiller was born in the suburbs of Detroit and raised on a lake by his mother who was a librarian and father who worked as a designer in the automotive industry. His favorite thing growing up was the way friends and family would drop in by his house that he shared as the youngest boy of three in the quaint home on a small lake.
After a beautiful childhood in Michigan, Matt moved to California to experience being a young adult. As a kid Matt never liked to be apart from his family, so it’s a little bizarre that traveling became—and remains, one of Matt’s greatest passions. The thrill of discovery once took Matt for a trip alone, and out of the country for the first time, to Guatemala where he got lost in the jungle for two days and survived in the 95 degree humid air amongst poisons spiders, snakes & plants, howler monkeys and jaguars. After making it out and enjoying the rest of his trip barefoot, that experience forever changed his life and is a great reminder each day of how fragile life really is.
The lake, along with the city environment of Detroit and Los Angeles, has formed Matt to become what he calls himself, an Urban Hillbilly. Always hip to design, music and pop culture, but also can drive anything and fix most things. He also played every sport imaginable growing up, but with the lake at his disposal, hockey became his most passionate one.
Amongst the daily trainings of life, Matt worked hard for a serious set of story-telling skills at the Tom Todoroff Professional Acting Conservatory. He now resides in NYC and loves it!
