When not starting and growing companies (his own and those of others), Matt mentors startup entrepreneurs and is "of counsel" to executives and leaders in tech, consumer, financial services, mobile, social media and lately healthcare industries. With experience starting and growing new companies, new businesses inside large enterprises and M&A; work related to market entry and growth, Matt is frequently tapped to help new and established businesses map and execute growth as the "growth hacker" and strategic thinker and deal-maker. As a connector, Matt brings people, companies, investors and partners together in a self-built ecosystem of like-minded friendly, generous, brilliant and savvy people. Matt is a longtime alumni mentor at both USC's Marshall School and Amherst College, has served for over a decade on the National Board at Marshall (USC) and is emeritus President of the SF Bay Area Alumni chapter.
