Alejandro Matuk

Started professional career in the San Diego City Attorney's Office. 8 yrs as a Senior Deputy City Attorney for the City of San Diego in the City Attorney's Civil Litigation. Also served as Special Deputy Counsel for the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Diego, negotiating and litigating eminent domain cases for the Agency.

Have tried over 100 bench trials and over 50 jury trials, both criminal and civil. With respect to civil experience, Alex has tried major jury trials in both state and federal courts. He has also handled approximately 100 administrative hearings and approximately 120 arbitrations.

In addition to trial experience, has been the responsible attorney in numerous writs and appellate matters. Personally prepared and argued numerous cases before the Fourth District Court of Appeals, the Ninth Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court and have argued two published cases before the California Supreme Court.

After leaving the City, Alex entered private practice and developed a strong business law specialty using my litigation experience to help guide my clients. Currently principal of the Law Offices of Alejandro Matuk and a Principal of Strazzeri Mancini LLP.
