A seasoned speaker with over 15 years of experience, Maurice has a longstanding track record for providing consulting services to start-ups, Fortune 100 clients, government agencies, & social ventures. Maurice prides himself on providing innovative solutions that accelerate growth & inspire common sense collaboration in efforts to maximize double bottom line returns.

While in college, Maurice co-founded DigitalGuestList.com, one of the country’s oldest & largest electronic event marketing firms. He began his professional career working in corporate finance with General Motors & Philip Morris. Post undergrad, he worked with JPMorgan Chase in England, Credit Suisse First Boston in investment banking and with Deloitte Consulting providing strategy solutions to a list of government & Fortune 100 clients.

In 2007, Maurice left corporate America after purchasing a boutique construction company. He diversified his portfolio purchasing & investing in other small businesses. Building on consulting engagements with companies such as Wachovia, the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Constellation Energy, & Fannie Mae, he has recently worked extensively on socially responsible efforts to help small businesses, nonprofits, & underserved communities. Since 2012, he’s worked with Diamond Ventures, a private equity firm with a focus on investing in minority, women, & veteran owned businesses.

Honored as an Atlanta Business Chronicle Top 40 Under 40 & an Emerging Emancipator in Venture Capital & Panelist at Kingonomics National Conference, he has spoken at numerous events & conferences on issues relating to strategic innovation, access to capital and best practices in financial management. He was selected to participate in the exclusive biennial AJC Black Jewish Coalition Project Understanding program which allows him to build cross-cultural brands, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.

A New Leaders Council fellow & past Chapter Co-Director & United Way VIP Participant, he serves on multiple boards and is value-added participant of several civic organizations.
