Maurice Bouchard

Stay-at-Home Dad / Artist in Athens, GA, USA

I’m Maurice Bouchard, an artist and stay-at-home dad living in Athens, Georgia. My journey has always been shaped by creativity, curiosity, and care. I studied at the University of Georgia, where I graduated as a Charter Scholar, and later worked in caregiving roles that taught me patience and empathy.

Today, I focus on my art and family. I paint with watercolours, design 3D prints, play guitar, and create detailed miniatures for tabletop games like Warhammer 40K. I’ve always loved stories—whether through sci-fi shows, manga, or video games—and those influences inspire how I see art as a way of building community.

Faith also guides my life. For me, Christianity and creativity go hand in hand, both asking us to look beyond what’s right in front of us. I believe leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about influence. If my art or hobbies encourage someone else to explore their imagination, then I’ve done something meaningful.
