Maurice McLellan

My name is Maurice. I'm married with 3 beautiful sons who are my world. I've been on active duty in the Army for over 17 years now and can't wait to retire in the next few years. I was born and raised in South Carolina. Some hobbies I enjoy doing is enjoying spending time with my family, hanging out with friends, sports, music, modeling, and acting. My favorite thing to do is act when I'm able to fit that into my busy military career. I've had speaking roles in the hit television series "Magnum P.I. It has been a while since I've been able to get back into it because of changing to a new duty station where movies and tv shows weren't big in that city, but fortunately I'm in an area where those dreams can continue on. I've also done a lot of extra work for different productions such as "King Kong vs Godzilla", "The Wrong Missy", and "Hawaii Five-O". When it comes to music, I've done concerts with mainstream artist such as "DaBaby, Paul Wall, Bun B, Kirko Bangz, and Renni Rucci". Financial accounting is important in my military profession and personal life. We have to be able to account for millions of dollars worth of equipment and also in our personal lives we're responsible for remaining financially sound and debt free to maintain our security clearances as well. When it comes to the financial accounting role in a business aspect I find it very important in order to manage a organization's budgeting, spending, purchases, payrolls, and future goals. I can't wait to see what this class has in store for us. I do believe this may be a challenging course for me if it is a bunch of math problems "laugh out loud" but also educational for me.
