I'm born in the Netherlands in 1967. I studied macro-economics at the University of Amsterdam. From 1997-2007 I worked as a journalist for the Dutch Financial Daily (Het Financieele Dagblad). After that I moved to Berlin to work as a correspondent for the same Dutch paper and some other publications.
