What I'm About

I've spent the years after high school bouncing between pretty different fields while juggling university, and the throughline has always been figuring things out as I go.

I like to try out different things, and I honestly don't know where my life is heading next. Not that it's a bad thing, I think; it just means I'm comfortable being the person who doesn't know everything yet but will work it out.

  • Hospitality taught me how to keep things running when it's busy, and people need stuff yesterday.
  • Medical imaging taught me how to stay calm and precise when the stakes are high.
  • Artificial Intelligence work has let me dig into the technical side of how models actually learn and improve.

When I'm Not Working

I'm usually deep in some action roguelike or co-op games on PC (Hades and Helldivers 2 are my favourite, btw), or if I'm on mobile, managing clans and guilds across whatever games I'm into at the time. When I just want to turn my brain off, I'll read some comics, mainly the Asian ones like manga/manhua/manhwa. Though I do enjoy a nice audiobook every now and then (Project Hail Mary is the best, and yes, I did watch it at the cinemas).

I also have a home gym with a squat cage and cable system, barbells with plenty of plates, and multiple racks of dumbbells, so I run compound days for the big lifts and auxiliary days to make up for whatever's lacking. But I'm mainly just doing maintenance for health benefits, rather than getting big.

Other times, I'm in the kitchen cooking and learning new recipes, with a weird amount of effort spent trying to make the food look pretty. And since I can't really sit still for long, I also like tinkering on online course sites to pick up whatever new thing has caught my attention.
