Maria Vitória Lanzoni
I was born in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil. I graduated fom High School in 2008 and in 2010 started atteding to the School of Law of the University of São Paulo. After one year studying Law, and, when I started looking for job in some companies, I noticed that English would be essential for my professional development. So that, I decided to leave my college for one year in order to improve my English skills. Since January, I've been living in Marlborough, Massachusetts, with my mother and stepfather. I've been taking ESL classes at Framingham State University and also a regular college class called Expository Writing. During this time living abroad, and staying in contact with different nationalities and cultures, I learned that English is much more a part of my personal life than part of my future career. Being able to speak another language showed me that the world goes much farther than the things I'd learned through the books and at school. And I can say that this has been a great experience for my maturity.
I booked my fly back to Brazil for Dec, 30. So far, my plans are to go back to Brazil and restart my college.
I'm an easy going and very understanding person. I work really hard to see the ones I love happy. My skills include creativity, discipline and will-power. I love to write and to read. I have a blog where I've been writing since I arrived in the U.S., whose link is below. I also love to dance, go to the gym, play volleyball, hang out with friends. My major defect is to be extremely perfectionist. Sometimes, I push myself so hard that I can turn a small problem into a moster. When it happens, all my struggle is in vain and I get really stressed. What drives me crazy is to feel that I'm lossing the control and that, for many times, my own future does not depend only on me and on my attitudes.
This is basically what I am. I won't try to say that I'm the most interesting person in the world, but I can't deny I have lots of interesting things to share. So, welcome to my life :)
