Hello, I’m Mavinakere Eshwaraiah Raghunandan. I am currently an Associate Professor of Geomechanics at Monash University Malaysia. Additionally, I serve as the Deputy Director of the Monash Climate Resilient Infrastructure (M-CRInfra) Research Hub and as the Director of Research for the Civil Engineering Department within the School of Engineering at Monash University Malaysia.
After earning my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, I explored several research interests, including soil dynamics, geotechnical earthquake engineering, and environmental and transportation geotechnics. My research centers on hazard assessment, investigation, and the development of ground improvement solutions. Through my contributions to research and achievements in establishing advanced experimental research facilities in geotechnical engineering, I have successfully secured competitive grants, supervised research projects, and published articles in reputable journals.
