My most recent work experience was as the Director of Communications at Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, in Evansville, IN. My duties included writing, editing, and layout & design for a variety of publications, both print and electronic. I also managed the websites for the fraternity as well as the Sinfonia Educational Foundation. I was also in charge of all social media for the organization, including our Facebook and Twitter accounts.

I led marketing efforts for our triennial National Conventions and other events. And I was the staff liaison for many of the partnerships the organization has with other musical and/or educational organizations. These partnerships necessitated a company presence at several trade shows or other major events each year, and I coordinated our presence at each. These events included the Midwest Band & Orchestra Clinic, The Texas Music Educators Association Conference, the Drum Corps International World Championships, and the Barbershop Harmony Society's International Convention. At these events, I would meet with thousands of alumni members, work to maximize our visibility at the events, and seek out new partnerships and opportunities for the organization.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful girlfriend. And I try to keep myself busy with a variety of hobbies. One of the biggest social groups I am active in is the Evansville Swing Cats. Based here in Evansville, we're a group of swing dancers that meet regularly, teach classes, and dance at a variety of local events throughout the year. I also enjoy playing the violin, brewing my own beer, and attending local sporting and cultural events.
