Max was born in London and moved to a seaside town in Essex while still a boy. Grammar school educated, he has worked as a shipping agent, stonemason, salesman and in construction. He published his first book on 21 November 2013, The Sister charted in the UK best sellers for Kindle top 100 of all books in January 2014.
