I'm a global citizen and a born optimist. I choose to believe in the good side of people, to trust them and to treat everyone equally. I also believe that by becoming a Leader in nowadays society one can have a huge impact on our world. Helping one another is essential for the process of something I call social evolution. By embracing other cultures we can learn a lot from each other and we cement the value of tolerance accross cultures.

As an economist, I am convinced of the change this profession can potentially have on people's lives. By designing thoroughly thought public policies (economic, monetrary, fiscal, development, etc) the impact can be enormous. I would like to become part on the decision making process of such policies and through my work improve people's lives. This is part of my life-project which I intend it to be meaningful und fulfilling at the same time.

I learned at first hand what it means to become a leader in a wonderful students organization called AIESEC. I have been part of this organization for approx. 3 years and during that time I was the Local Committee President of AIESEC in Bonn for one year and I also organized a big conference called the National Leadership Development Seminar (NaLDS). As an important part of my experience, I became a Trainer & Facilitator and since then I have been delivering conferences, seminars and workshops in topics ranging from Intercultural Competencies to Leadership.

I recently started working with two colleagues of mine in our own start up which is related to social media and the way we travel. But more on the topic soon.
