Hello, I'm Maxwell.

I originally studied Fashion Design and became an entrepreneur for three years. During the first two years, I had a business designing custom evening dresses with an end goal of being the CEO of my own apparel company. Although I was fully capable of designing apparel, I wasn’t entirely interested with the daily responsibilities of being a designer. I then executed a successfully funded Kickstarter campaign for a ready to wear collection allowing me to focus on the brand. Throughout the breadth of the project from conception to production, I learned that my skills and passion truly reside in marketing and communication.

After finishing my Kickstarter project, I became an Account Manager for a start-up perfumery overseeing 12 Nordstrom accounts in the US, giving me a taste of a role that best highlighted my skillset. I am best known for my drive, sunny disposition and passion for people. Which led me to believe that I belong in a liaison role communicating cross-functionally within an organization as the primary point of contact with our clients.

I now work for a technology marketing agency and consultancy as an Operations Coordinator. I defined this new role to support the proposal process with content curation and bridge the gap between Creative and Client Services, ensuring business and creative continuity across internal teams from the initial pitch to final delivery of assets.
