As a performer and director, Maya is passionate about the development of original & experimental musical work. She recently produced, directed, and starred in the east coast premiere Kingdom of the Clouds at Theater 80 St. Marks.
Recent appearances include: Mercury in Retrograde (Self, Sally Ride) at Joe's Pub, 'Murica: A Kick in the Farce (Missy Cleo Faith) at Tisch's ETW, Sweeney Todd (Featured Ensemble) at the New Studio on Broadway, and How I Learned to Drive (Female Greek Chorus) at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School.
