I am a graduate at Eastern Kentucky University, with a Bachelor's in Journalism and an Art Minor. In middle school, I discovered my passion for writing after reading J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. Ever since then I have been working to become an author, writing my own stories and improving my writing skills.
While in college, I was a Feature Writer for the school paper, The Eastern Progress. In my senior year, I published a short story for Aurora, EKU's creative writing magazine.
Currently I am a Freelance worker for Innov8tiv Magazine; a magazine that features African American and other minority women in the technology field. I am still seeking a full-time job that will allow me to write/edit. Aside from writing, I am also a talented artist. It is just a fun hobby right now, but if I could use my art in a career, it would be a great experience! Below is a link to my short story blog, as well as a blog where I review movies and Japanese cartoons.
