Born and raised in Kolkata I have been making films since school. What started as medium of 'escape' soon turned to cinema becoming 'empathy machine' as Roger Ebert put it. My graduating short film 'Pushpa', a personal narrative based on my mom put my life and my filmmaking on a path.
