About me!
My name is Maya O'Keeffe and I graduated from Royse City High School in 2023. While in high school, I focused on medicine-related career fields. At the moment I am working as a hostess by being able to manage a bustling waiting area with poise, organizational skills, and empathy to keep everyone happy. I believe the work of your flight attendants to be admirable and delightful to be in service of - I would love to put my knowledge and experience to work in that position with you guys. If you would have a date in mind for when we could set up a meeting to talk about what I could further bring to the team that would be wonderful!
Education is….
I believe that education is how people make their way in the outside world not only because it can help you get a job but also gives you social skills. For me, that is just as important as the education you are working to get. Without your social skills, it can be hard to put the knowledge that you have gained from school into the real world. Not to say that education is not the backbone of all skills because school has taught me so many useful things like the ABCs, how to write, and how to stay out of trouble. School is how we base our lives and how we remember our childhood so when we get out of high school and college we have friends that we made along the way and memories we can put into use for the rest of our lives. Overall the education we get from the time we are 5 to 18 is something that we hold so much value in however do not give enough credit for what we have learned during it. I do not think that I wouldn’t feel nearly as ready to be out in the real world if I hadn’t been in school and learning how to deal with the stuff being thrown at me.

- I would like to gain my high school diploma with honors in all my classes!
- The next step I am looking at for my future would be a trade school.
Awards and Achievements…
When I think about my greatest achievement the first thing that comes to mind would be becoming the head hostess at my current job within the first 3 months of working there.
