Maybel Montez[3] (born January 10, 1997) is an American Singer/songwriter and Actor from Prince Georges County Maryland.[4][5] He is best known for his single "Satisfaction". His debut studio album Enough Said was released on November 15, 2015.

Early life:

Montez was born in Prince George's County, Maryland.[6] He attended public school in Charles County Maryland.[7] Although no one in his family was musically inclined, he was inspired to sing by Drake. Montez first uploaded videos to YouTube in 2015 at age 18, starting with a cover of "Good Ones Go" by Drake.[8]

His father and mother divorced back in 2002 and Maybel was only 5, Montez's father took custody and moved him to Charles County, Maryland in search of a fresh start of a new life and better education.[6][7] Montez had disagreements with his mother. He became more committed to his music, and relocated to Los Angeles in 2018.[9][10][11]

2015–present: Transition, Enough Said and

Never Ever Land

His first album "Enough Said" was released in September 2015,[12][13] though an "Untitled" mixtape with six acoustic covers premiered in November 2015.[14] His single "Satisfaction" was released in November 2016, and [15][16] his mixtape Never Ever Land followed in March 2017.[17][18]

The EP Trust Issues was released on December 20, 2015, with a video for "Never Give Up" released the following month.[19]
