Mayer Separzadeh

The recipient of a master's in electrical engineering and business administration from Queen Mary College, London University, Mayer Separzadeh is an entrepreneur who has worked in real estate development for over 35 years. Since first becoming involved in real estate in December of 1978, Mayer Separzadeh has financed and managed the construction and leasing of over 100 residential and commercial properties, including a 1,160-room downtown Los Angeles hotel. Also among his many projects was a 13-story high-rise office building that was originally acquired for $4.2 million and sold over a decade later for $38 million following significant upgrades.

Mayer Separzadeh established Action Investment Group to assist with the management and enhancement of his properties. The firm includes a professional leasing staff focused on ensuring maximum occupancy of its rental properties as well as a construction management staff to conduct rehabilitation projects.

Although the majority of his business dealings are in Los Angeles and the state of California, Mr. Separzadeh's business portfolio also includes manufacturing companies in South America and Europe. Among other transactions, he acquired both KEM ONE SAS and KEM ONE Innovative Vinyls, which have a combined revenue of $1.3 billion per year, and is a board member of 11 other businesses.
