I am first generation Latina MBA graduate with an interest in Portfolio Management and Investment Analysis. As a student of life, I am focused on learning and becoming a part of the world of Investments by entering uncharted territory and immersing myself in the field of Finance. I hope to break barriers and become a role model to the Hispanic community where Portfolio Analysis is a foreign concept.

I will accomplish my goal by developing my team of mentors and diligently overcoming obstacles. My strategy as in with life is to use prudent methods to achieve positive results. There is no failure in my book only lessons and my success comes from my ability to adapt to changes and foresee issues and address them accordingly. Arrogance is not a quality I admire, but my natural ability with strategic planning is a gift from above. Although confident in my abilities, I practice mindfulness and aspire to invest in myself in all areas of my life.

I am currently a Toastmaster participant where I showcase my ability to communicate orally through the art of public speaking. I also have soft spot for Seniors. I currently work for LA County Retirement Association, which assists county workers with retirement planning. Last year, I completed a Financial Literacy Trainer course with AARP foundation in my quest to bring awareness of financial planning to Seniors, and all members of the community. Lastly, I understand that I am a small part of the bigger picture. I am involved with my community and most recently applied to be a part of the Parks and Recreation commission for the City of San Dimas. I will be able to address issues in a capacity where I am able to implement change.

Most recently, I was honored to showcase my capabilities in another capacity in our organization. I was privileged with the opportunity to work in the Investment Team as the assistant to the Principal Investment Officer in Real Estate asset class. I became exposed to the institutional investment side. I became aware of how LA County seeks risk adjusted returns through meaningful diversification with different investment vehicles, which in turn increases the pension fund. My genuine interest in working for the Investment team has motivated me to pursue a career in Portfolio Management and Investment Analysis. I want to focus on the role of portfolio analysis and I am seeking an opportunity to analyze risk adjusted returns and provide meaningful investment solutions.
