Janece Maze-Yeager is an award-winning editor, experienced project administrator, and creative marketing strategist originally from Chicago, Illinois, and partly raised in Selma, Alabama, with a natural ability to develop effective content and implement projects.
She has more than a decade of experience as a journalist and was Associate Editor at Country Living magazine and Online Editor at Victoria, TeaTime, Southern Lady, Cooking with Paula Deen, and The Cottage Journal at Hoffman Media LLC, where she oversaw digital brand campaigns for national advertisers, published magazines and books, and coordinated marketing for domestic and international events. Her work has also appeared in various special interest magazines, books including the award-winning Taking Tea, and syndicated on harpersbazaar.com/it, redbookmag.com, townandcountrymag.com, msn.com, and yahoo.com.
Janece previously served as Projects Coordinator and Assistant to the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Miles College and as Community Engagement Coordinator at United Way of the Bay Area through the AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America program in San Francisco, California, where she worked on a collective impact initiative focused on decreasing poverty in the Bay Area.
She is a proud graduate of Miles College and completed coursework at the University of Alabama School of Law. Janece firmly believes, "there is no greater calling than to serve your fellow man," and currently serves as a Grant Administrator with the Ronald E. McNair Research Scholars Program.
